Sayulita Info
There is a well kept secret on the Central Pacific Coast of Mexico, a unique place for fishing, water sports, horseback riding and mountain biking and hiking: Sayulita.
Sayulita was a traditional cattle ranching and fishing village and a well-known coconut harvesting centre. Now is becoming a very popular destination for holidays or retirement home for American and Canadians.
Located on the coast of Nayarit, it is only 45 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta (Jalisco). This little town offers amazing views, soft white sand and a great place to live in or visit.
This is a typical Mexican rural pueblo: children playing on the streets, dogs, chickens… It is also a paradise for a quiet vacation, a yoga retirement or a surfing weekend. You will always have the option of a crowded Sunday rodeo (Jaripeo) or a charming little restaurant by the seaside.
The weather is sub-tropical with breeze from the Bay of Banderas and it reaches 90 degrees F.
